The KMC-AS series is a 4-axis control multi-face machining center. The crossbeam (W-axis) is designed to move up and down, the 4-axis are box way, and it is a high-rigidity structure supported by a full stroke. These special designs can ensure the stability of the KMC- AS series.
KMC- AS series spindle head is thermally symmetrical achieves minimal thermal displacement. Specially designed high-strength square shape cast iron RAM to enhance 32% rigidity and stability of powerful cutting. The crossbeam movement adopts dual servo motors synchronous drive and dual linear scale feedback control. We use S50C imported Japanese high-carbon steel of box way on the crossbeam to balance the hardness of the rail and link-chain type roller bearings, it solves the problems of negative backlash and uneven hardness. The strong rib has excellent resistance to bending and torsion stress.
KMC- AS series can be equipped with a full range of additional heads (30-degree head, extension head, and universal head) to achieve a wide range of applications for multi-face processing. The high rigidity structure is suitable for processing large workpieces with deep recesses, it can also process ultra-high and ultra-thin workpieces with the mutual movement function of the Z (700mm) axis and W (1100mm) axis. The highest Z axis + W axis travel can be optioned to 2600mm.
KM has sold several units to China, New Zealand, Turkey and other countries for processing large workpieces.
