The Generalitat Valenciana has granted more than 2.9 million euros in direct aid to the company Ice Cream Factory Comaker, which is the manufacturer of the Italian firm Ferrero's ice cream and also a producer of numerous Spanish and international distribution brands.

The minister, together with the general director of the Economic Model, Autonomous Financing and Financial Policy, José Moreno, met with ICFC executives, a beneficiary of 2.97 million euros, within the aid program for business investment projects that favor an environmentally sustainable economic model.
The head of Valencian finances said that lCFC "is a leading company in the development, manufacture and sale of ice cream, which has known how to combine tradition with a commitment to innovation, with the aim of leading the sector in the national and international market ". He added that Ice Cream Factory Comaker plans to carry out an ambitious investment strategy "to place the company at the forefront of technology and at the same time make a qualitative and quantitative leap in environmental protection."
Thus, after the execution of the investment project, to which the Generalitat will contribute close to 3 million euros, "the company is expected to grow by 160% in the next five years, to increase its production volume by 72% and increase its staff by 50%, with the creation of a minimum of 83 jobs". Ice Cream Factory Comaker currently has a staff made up of 900 workers and more than 100 belonging to a special employment center, in collaboration with Ilunion, a business group of the ONCE Social Group. Those responsible for the company assuring that with these investments the objective is to position the company "as a technological and innovative benchmark in the production process, while increasing sustainability, with technologies that ensure greater energy efficiency and reduction of environmental impact". , as well as "provide the company with greater flexibility, create stable employment and develop products with high added value".
During the visit to the Ice Cream facilities in Alzira, Arcadi España underlined "the important economic effort of the Generalitat, which amounts to 8.6 million, to aid investment projects of companies that contribute to the transformation of the economic model", and He added that the investments to be made by the six companies in the Valencian Community awarded these subsidies "will allow the creation of 320 new jobs, as well as the start-up of business development actions worth 60 million". Specifically, for 2022 the Generalitat budgeted 3.8 million euros to finance these investments, supplemented in the second year of the call with an additional 4.8 million in 2023.
