The XVI International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2023 is scheduled to be held from July 25 to 30 in Zhukovsky near Moscow.
About 829 companies took part in MAKS-2021, including 250 foreign companies from more than 50 countries of the world.
"The creation and use of unmanned aerial systems will be one of the key topics at the upcoming XVI International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2023. The world premiere of an off-airfield-based unmanned transport aircraft developed by one of the leading Russian aircraft manufacturers will take place," the organizers said.
The Russian Helicopters holding company will present the first BAS-200 helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle certified by the Russian Aviation Register for commercial operation.
For the first time, a specialized section dedicated to ALS was formed at MAKS-2019. About 20 companies took part in its work, presenting their products on an area of 400 square meters.

The development of unmanned aircraft systems has already become the main trend of the decade for the domestic aviation industry. Drones are in demand in many sectors of the national economy, they are necessary to ensure the security of the country. The specialized exposition will occupy a separate pavilion, which will house stands of leading Russian manufacturers and operators of unmanned aerial systems, including Aeromax, BAS, First Design Bureau, Kotlin-Innovator, and others. The pavilion of the Moscow Government will also feature ALS.
Particular attention will be paid to the presentation of new centers of competence for unmanned aerial systems, including at the site of the industrial park "Rudnevo" and on the basis of the federal center of Unmanned Aviation (BAS), located in the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" for aerial photography, monitoring, processing of farmland, air cargo delivery.
