Huawei launches a watch with 18K gold finishes: how much money do Romanians have to take out of their pockets for it

The Chinese device manufacturer HUAWEI Consumer Business Group (CBG) launches in Romania the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN, a HUAWEI smart device from the wearables category, which combines the 18K gold finish with technology.
The smartwatch aligns with HUAWEI's recently announced new brand positioning, Fashion Forward, which shows the company's interest in developing products in a direction that focuses on design.
HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate, launched earlier this year, is resistant to diving (10 atm). WATCH Ultimate also received the EISA Awards 2023-2024 Premium Smartwatch from the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). With the original edition, HUAWEI decided to go to a new level and launch its first gold edition smartwatch.
HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN is made of 18K gold alloy with 75% gold content. The bezel is made up of six special sections of cast gold, executed in a ceramic mold heated to a high temperature. The crown and buttons on the watch body are also made of 18K gold alloy.
The indices on the bezel are gold plated using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating technology. After this, a laser engraving process is applied, where ornate characters are etched onto the outside of the smartwatch through a three-round laser process at the 5 micron level to produce a matte texture. After gold is added through a vacuum ion plating technology, an intaglio printing pattern is applied to create a gold powder effect. The golden elements of the strap are also gold plated.
HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN has an adjustable and lightweight strap with a butterfly clasp mechanism that can be easily adjusted according to the size of the user's wrist.
The smartwatch is equipped with an exclusive dial. It is adorned with a golden world map and includes a module that displays real-time heart rate. In addition, users can choose from over 25,000 Watch Faces available in the HUAWEI Official Store.
