The German textile & Non-Food discounter KiK currently owns 117 clothing stores in Romania and estimates the opening of 30 new locations this year. The company celebrates 5 years since its launch on the Romanian market.
"KiK, the most popular textile & Non-Food discounter in Germany, celebrates 5 years of activity in Romania. The KiK retailer, with a network of over 4,000 stores in Europe, of which 2,600 in Germany and 117 in Romania, has proposed, for the next period, to continue development and expansion in all areas of interest in Romania", the company announces.
KiK entered the Romanian market in 2018, with the inauguration of the first store in Oradea and consolidated its position on the Romanian market.

KiK currently owns 117 stores in Romania, at a time when Romanians are increasingly paying attention to how they spend their money and are increasingly turning to brands with affordable prices.
"The company continues its expansion policy, and in the course of 2023, it estimates the opening of 30 new locations. At the same time, the aim is to have a uniform distribution throughout the country, with a presence of 60% in the county residences and 40% in medium and small towns", the company says.
