The Administration of Commerce, MOEA (hereinafter referred to as AOC), leads 10 Taiwan franchise brand enterprises to participate in the "Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunities (TFBO) 2024" from July 11 to 14, 2024. The aim is to enhance the international market awareness of Taiwanese franchise brands and to seek overseas cooperation opportunities through the largest annual franchising event in Thailand.

According to Thailand's official economic data, with the improvement of local living standards and the booming tourism industry, Thailand's franchise market reached 330 billion baht (approximately US$9 billion) in 2023, a 10% increase from 2022. With vast consumer demand, there are currently nearly 140 international franchise brands, covering nearly 20,000 stores, which shows that the Thai market has great potential for development.

The "Taiwan Franchise Brand Pavilion" in TFBO 2024 covers a wide range of Taiwan's franchise industry and showcases Taiwan's unique products and services. The participated enterprises include JHU JIAN hotpot, which is devoted to active promotion of multi-brand and international expansion, as well as bubble tea brands such as Kung Fu Tea, LIKE TEA SHOP, Mr. Sun Handcrafted Boba Shop, Chosen Tea, NUTTEA. The participated enterprises also include Taiwanese dessert brands Mister wheel, MORE WARM cake, Moon met mountain Shawarma, and the century-old brand of Chyuan Fa Honey. In addition, to strengthen the link between Taiwan franchise brands and the international market, the "2024 Taiwan-Thailand franchise Biz Matchmaking" will be held concurrently on the first day of the event. This meeting has invited overseas agents, important distributors, and supply chain manufacturers who have a high willingness to cooperate with Taiwan's franchise brands and possess purchasing potential. They can have exchanges and business matchmaking with the participated enterprises to establish an international cooperation network.

The four-day exhibition will create opportunities for Taiwan's franchise brands to set up stores in the international market and expand the market share and reputation of Taiwan's franchise brands globally. In the future, AOC will continue to invest in various resources to provide a diversified platform for international exchanges and assist Taiwan's franchise brands in expanding their business territory and accelerating their entry into the international market.
