On May 2024, Finout, a FinOps company for enterprises, announced the closing of a $26.3 million Series B funding round led by Red Dot Capital with the participation of Maor Investments, Team8, Pitango, and Jibe Ventures, as well as existing investors. Among the leading global brands that rely on Finout's fully integrated FinOps solution are Lyft, the New York Times, Choice Hotels, Wiz, Tenable, and Appsflyer, all of which optimize their cloud expenditure and allocate costs across all cloud providers. In total, Finout has raised $45 million to date, which brings its total funds raised to date to $45 million.

The FinOps platform of Finout has been increasingly used by large enterprises to address the FinOps challenges they face," said Roi Ravhon, Finout's co-founder and CEO. It is not feasible to build an in-house solution because of the amount of work, complexity, and dynamic nature of supporting multiple cloud environments that it would require. In the last few years, we have seen many enterprises turn to Finout to manage their data layer, allowing them to focus on their own FinOps logic, seamless integration with existing systems, and supporting the implementation of FinOps culture at scale."

In the year 2021, Finout was founded by Roi Ravhon (CEO), Asaf Liveanu (COO), and Yizhar Gilboa (CTO) under the leadership of Roi Ravhon. Asaf and Roi worked together at Logz.io, and Roi and Asaf founded the company along with Yizhar, who served with Roi in Unit 8200 in the Israeli Defense Forces.

In 2023, according to the company, the company's revenue grew by nine times, while since the beginning of 2024, it has grown by three times. The founder and CEO of Cloudability, Mat Ellis, joined Finout's board of directors in April, to become part of a team that previously included Cloudthread, a cloud cost usage optimization startup.
