When machine tools frequently action and operate at high speeds, the hydraulic oil system will produce high temperatures, that will cause accuracy changes. When the equipment is first operated in the morning, the hydraulic oil can maintain the quality of the workpiece at low temperatures. When the operation time is long, the temperature rises. It causes physical deformation and reduces the quality of the workpiece.

 

In the past, the passive cooling method relied on a larger tank with three times oil, and then used external equipment to cool the oil, which was inefficient and consumed more oil. The active cooling circulation system launched by CML combines the variable vane pump with the cooling circulation pump. In the hydraulic system, the cooling pump can actively pump hot oil to the cooler for cooling, and then guide it back to the oil tank, so that the hydraulic system can effectively. It cools down and uses less oil to save energy.

 

Seeking to address such shortcomings, CML developed a solution combining variable vane pump with the cooling circulation pump. The cooling circulation pump extract the heated oil to a cooler before reintroducing it into the system, it can effectively keep the entire hydraulic oil system within a temperature difference of 8 degrees throughout the whole day. The solution has effectively mitigated hydraulic oils becoming overheated from extended periods of use, decreased oil use threefold, and doubled hydraulic system life.

 

According to CML General Manager Pump Lee, CML cooling circulation system adopts a patented design, which consumes less power than an external cooling system during operation, reducing the oil use and electricity consumables, extending the system life, and allowing the equipment to maintain its best condition and improve the yield rate of the equipment and the volume of the fuel tank are reduced, providing a higher square footage in the factory area, allowing owners to feel more about the benefits of energy saving.

 

Servo energy-saving system, accurately controls and reduces unnecessary energy consumption

In traditional hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment may have multiple functional circuits, and different hydraulic cylinders have different speeds and pressure conditions. The flow and pressure of full-load operation lead to a waste of energy and an increase in system oil temperature.

 

According to Pump Lee, CML foresaw the need to address overheating and energy waste during the global energy crisis of 2008 and invested considerably in the research and development of a solution.

 

Pump Lee said CML’s previous experience with pumps and their hydraulic systems—with decades of experience in the planning and applications of integrated servomechanism and pump solutions—has allowed them to stay one step ahead of others and provide their clients with the best servo-motor and pump solution.

 

CML’s servo-hydraulic energy conservation system, featuring high-efficiency internal gear pumps sourced from Eckerle (German), fully integrates drivers, pressure sensors, and proportional-integral–differential (PID) controllers to conserve energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions.

 

The solution has been proven to considerably reduce energy consumption when used with machines requiring constant packing pressure.

The company cited client feedback that it achieved 80 percent energy conservation rates after adopting a CML servo-hydraulic energy-saving system with its hollow molding machine. The client also said that the capital saved over 2-3 years with the adoption of CML’s solution

equated to the funds invested to purchase the solution in the first place.

 

CML President Martin Chen said that CML machinery has become increasingly popular due to the emphasis placed on the ESG concept within the industry and worldwide governments. The company is willing to work with its clients to provide packaged solutions to promote energy saving.
